 STOP STRUGGLING IN RELIGION. COME TO JESUS START LIVING.

Religion Will Never Reach God 

Religion is as old as man. It started in the Garden of Eden the moment man sinned against God and lost His presence. Since that day, religion has been man’s fruitless struggle to search for God. 

Do you know that struggle?  

Muslim: 5 prayers a day, fasting, pilgrimage to Mecca, trying to keep the 5 pillars, hoping your good deeds outweigh your bad on judgment day. But no one ever knows if it’s enough.  

Hindu/Buddhist: Endless cycles of karma, rebirth, rituals, sacrifices, trying to climb a ladder that never ends.  

Traditionalist: Offerings, charms, sacrifices to ancestors, living in fear of curses.  

Every religion is the same story: man trying to reach up to God by works, labour, and rules. Prophets, messengers, law, angels, judges, kings, queens, patriarchs — God sent them all to call man back. But no prophet, no law, no ritual can erase sin or give you new life. Your founder cannot save you. Your works cannot save you. Because the problem is not outside. The problem is sin inside. And “the wages of sin is death” Romans 6:23.

God Came Down Because You Can’t Climb Up

But God reached out to man through Jesus Christ. He came Himself to seek and to save man. Left for man alone in his endless search he can’t find God. 

From Eden, God has been reaching out: Prophets, Law, Angels, Judges, Kings, Queens. But at the last He came Himself in the form of a man to seek and to save man. 

Jesus Christ is not another religion. When I invite you to come to Jesus Christ and be saved, I am not inviting you to religion — human efforts/struggles. I am inviting you to a real experience of salvation by God’s grace through faith.

Only Jesus Can Save You 

Why Jesus?  

1. He is the Way — John 14:6: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me”. Not Mecca, not temples, not rituals. Jesus Himself is the bridge back to God.  

2. He is the Truth — Every prophet pointed to a problem they could not solve. Jesus solved it. He died for your sins and rose from the dead to prove death is defeated.  

3. He is the Life — Religious works give you rules. Jesus gives you life. Eternal life, peace, joy, redemption, forgiveness, sonship, justification. You don’t work to become a son. You believe and you are born again as a child of God, John 1:12.

Mohammed owned slaves and died in a grave. Buddha died seeking enlightenment. Your ancestors cannot give you eternal life. Only Jesus conquered death and is alive today to give you life.

Stop the Hopeless Labour. Come to Jesus  

Tired of the fear? Tired of “Am I good enough?” Tired of rituals that leave your heart empty? That’s because religion is man reaching for God. Salvation is God reaching for man.

Through faith in Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour, you receive eternal life, peace, joy, redemption, forgiveness, sonship, justification, etc. and become right with God. Not because you prayed enough. Not because you fasted enough. Because Jesus paid it all.

Your Decision Today

Don’t die in religion. Live in relationship. 

Pray this now from your heart:  

Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and my works cannot save me. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. Come into my heart. Be my Lord and Saviour. Forgive me and make me Your child. Amen.

If you prayed that sincerely, God heard you. You are saved. You are born again. You are no longer a slave to religion. You are a son of God.

Jesus is not calling you to a religion. He is calling you to Himself.

Come to the Way, the Truth, and the Life today.

For questions or prayer: Find a Bible-believing church near you. Read John chapter 3 and Romans chapter 8. Then start from John chapter 1 till the last chapter. Then Romans chapter 1 till the last chapter. Then Matthew chapter one till the end of the last book (Revelation). Then read the book of Isaiah. The start from Genesis chapter 1 and continue reading and studying till you finish reading the Bible. As you read, pray to God to enlighten you by the Holy Spirit, practice and apply the lessons and see yourself transformed into the likeness of Jesus Christ.
